At 71Five Justice, we reach out to high-risk teens in tough situations. Young people are met in a variety of locations such as detention centers, probation programs, correctional facilities, group homes, residential treatment centers and emergency shelters. Relationships are developed and sustained while kids are locked up and as they re-enter their communities. 71Five Justice staff and volunteers are committed to building relationships that last long after teens have left the juvenile justice system.

71Five JUSTICE Includes:

• Monday- Youth from the Detention Center’s residential program (B2B) are taken to the local downhill mountain biking trails for a tough climb and swift descent. Afterwards we share a meal. • Monday-Friday- One to one visits and mentoring at detention: This time is vital for getting to know the youth to provide support and encouragement. Sharing the love of God, we work to develop authentic relationships that stand the test of time. We also partner with center staff for fun activities, food preparation and art projects. • Monday and Thursday Night- Group at detention: Discussions on many different spiritual topics. We use media presentations, Bible teaching, personal testimonies along with anything else that sets the stage to share and discuss the Gospel. This time is a key part of cultivating new relationships. • Tuesday- Mens’s breakfast & bible study for B2B youth at Church. • Wednesday Night- Bible Study at Church • Saturday- Another serious mountain bike ride to stay connected with youth met at the center. • Sunday Chapel- Teams of dedicated volunteers teach from the Bible, pray with kids and meet afterwards to provide encouragement and guidance. • Sunday- Interested youth from the B2B program are picked up by 71Five volunteers to attend regular church services.
