71Five MENTORS

A one-to-one and group mentoring program, 71Five Mentors is designed to serve 7 to 18-year-old young people that are deemed to be “at-risk.” Youth are referred to our program by school and clinical counselors alike. Due to so many difficult situations faced in and out of the home, which are typically beyond their control, these kids are struggling! Young people (mentees) are matched with loving, caring, stable adult mentors who share their time, their life experiences and how they handle life’s challenges according to the teachings of Jesus Christ. Mentoring has consistently proven to be an effective means of positively changing a young person’s life forever!

71Five MENTORS Includes:

• A stable mentoring relationship with a healthy adult, through which the message of Jesus Christ can be shared.
• A social event or outing for mentor and mentee introduction.
• Fun large-group social events such as rafting, hiking, and snow outings.
• Summer Camps.
• Initial training on the expectations of a mentor and annual trainings on relevant ways of connecting with a young person.
• Immediate access to staff and support in cases of special mentee needs and concerns.
• Serving Jackson County & Josephine County
• Please call for Weekly Events & Summer Activities.
