Ken Ruiz has a passion to see families restored. He and his wife Dena have partnered together to reach, teach and beseech hurting people for the past 20 years. Their desire is to see individuals and families reach their full potential by helping them recognize and pursue their God given purpose.

Specializing in inner-city ministry, Ken comes to us with great experience working with those impacted by the issues that are common to lower income areas such as broken families, drug addiction and gang violence. Ken served as an assistant pastor for several years in his hometown Sacramento, California. Where he was able to help establish and grow many of the supporting church ministries ranging from the Children’s, Youth, Worship and Marriage ministries to overseeing community outreach and special events

Family dinners are one of Ken’s greatest joys. Simply sitting down with his beautiful wife, his three awesome, almost all adult, children KJ, Kena and Johnny to share a meal, catch up and enjoy each other’s company “floats his boat.” He also loves to celebrate with his very large and diverse extended family in Northern California, Southern Oregon, Washington and as far as Florida. He is looking forward to the day when they will all come together with the one purpose of worshiping the Lord together.
