71Five VoTech Coordinator – Medford
Larry and his wife Roshelle have three grown sons and two adorable Grandkids (boy and girl). He is originally from New York and met his wife while stationed in Humboldt Bay California while as a member the US Coast Guard Air Sea Rescue, they married in 1979.
Larry’s moto is, “I am just one beggar telling other beggars where the bread is.” He believes that showing love for the youth of the neighborhood in practical ways is the best way to establish lasting relationships with young people. Being real and willing to listen is the way to make connections that allow us to hear their stories. Larry is a story teller and his deepest passion is to have young people hear God’s story of love, forgiveness and acceptance. 71Five City (formerly City Life) is a ministry that he feels he is uniquely called to because he has a heart to reach the lost and hurting with the message of the gospel. Plus being Italian, he likes to talk.
Larry originally joined Youth For Christ while stationed in Hawaii. He and his wife headed up the Junior Varsity program from 1985 to 1989. And now 30 years later Larry is back directing 71Five City. In 2019 Larry transitioned to the 71Five VoTech Coordinator where he is training up young adults in carpentry, mechanics and welding to place them in a career within these industries.
