Terry Guthrie was born in Sacramento California and moved to southern Oregon with his family in 1992 where he attended the Seventh Day Adventist School through his freshman year of high school, later graduating from North Valley high School in Merlin. Terry was raised in the church and attended regularly through his mid-teens, faded away through his late twenties until he began attending Edgewater Christian Fellowship in Grants Pass where he found a different love and meaningful relationship with the heavenly father.

 

That relationship with Jesus Christ fostered a desire to help young people, develop relationships and pass on skills and knowledge to the next generation. It was also round that time Terry met Farrah and they married in June of 2012. They share a passion for animals and outdoor adventures, especially rafting, mountain biking and riding motorcycles. From 2010-2022 Terry was the sprint coach at North Valley high where he developed many amazing lifelong relationships with young people and looks to continue that through 71Five VoTech.
