The 71Five City – West Medford shares the hope that transforms communities one kid at a time. Our strategy is to reach, teach and beseech young people. We reach kids where they’re at by being a constant presence in their neighborhood, community outreach events and connecting at Station 71Five. Then we transition to teaching by building personal individual relationships, sharing biblical truth, and bringing kids to their Heavenly Father. As they grow we beseech each young person to walk in their purpose by discovering their passion, developing their giftings and talents and ultimately urging them to pursue God’s plan for their lives. Our Station 71Five Community Center is strategically located in the heart of West

Medford.

 

As Medford’s Old Firehouse #2, the station was a base for first responders to reach our community. Though the station is no longer used to fight fires it is still a base to reach this community. Medford’s Old Fire Station #2 was awarded by the City of Medford to Youth 71Five Ministries in early 2018. Renovation efforts started in the Summer of 2019 transforming the old Fire Station into the Station 71Five Community Center with the help of The Arthur Dubs Foundation and a community capital campaign. We offer various clubs, events, and a safe place to hangout for young people and their families. We also make the facility available to families and organizations in the community for events and functions.
