Will Arias trusts in the ultimate plan for his life. “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” [Jeremiah 29:11]. This trust took 33 years to get there, where many roads Will took ended up at dead-ends with no one and nothing but darkness to call home. One day in a dark moment of life, Will was called out of the dark into the light. In a moment, Jesus revealed his need for the savior and a better way of life, one of service, one with a perfect peace that would carry him through the toughest of events. Will stepped out in faith from dark to light, giving his old life up for a new, less familiar one. This new life has opened up a great opportunity to be in a community with others. He began serving first with community service and a job offer after completing community service. Will has three Kids Devon, 20, Asher, 16, And Kameron, 13. Three young men that he has not seen in some time. Which ignited a desire to serve in youth ministry in 2018; since then, Will has advanced leading small groups a skate ministry and is now the coordinator for 71Five-Shady Cove Campus.

 

Will’s hope in Shady Cove is to build lasting relationships with the youth, encourage, plant seeds of hope, and tell them the good news of Jesus Christ.
